CorePartners Implements CoreIMS at The Orkand Corporation
CorePartners Incorporated, a supply chain software company, successfully completed the implementation of CoreIMS®, CorePartner’s new .NET based inventory and warehouse management system at The Orkand Corporation.
The Orkand Corporation is a Falls Church, Virginia-based company offering information technology services, data operations and facilities management services to various United States government agencies.
The Orkand Corporation has a contract with the U.S. Department of State to provide warehousing, fulfillment, repair and rework services. Prior to installing CoreIMS, Orkand had been utilizing another inventory and warehouse management software system. Orkand was unhappy with its solution and decided to replace the system. The objective was to improve order fulfillment rates, track product history via serial and lot numbers, improve its reporting capabilities and deploy barcode scanning and printing. Orkand chose CoreIMS as the best solution for their needs based on its leading edge technology, reasonable price and rapid deployment.
